KIDS & YOUTH

Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered!  Have teenagers?  We still have you covered!  You'll find an exciting Sunday School offered for ages 3 years old through Senior High at 10:00 o'clock each Sunday morning, and professional child care for infants through age 3 all morning long.  Your children will be in a safe environment where they will learn about Jesus and have a fun time doing it. 

 

If your kids are Kindergarten through Senior High, then they come to worship with us at 8:55 am in the sanctuary.  After worship, all children are dismissed to their age appropriate room where they will have a blast! You can save some time by pre-registering your child below.

 

DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR

Wednesday Evenings:

Small groups for a variety of ages meet during the evening following the Wonderful Wednesday evening meal at 5:30pm.  Children preschool through 5th grade are invited to join in for worship, music, and exploring bible stories.  A nursery is offered for infants through age 3 as needed.  Junior and Senior high age are invited to attend RZ Youth in their own special space designed just for teenagers complete with pool tables, foosball, and TVs galore!

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? Have no fear! Our friendly volunteers will show you where our kids check-in is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you and your kids!

SAFETY

All volunteers and staff at First Church are trained in Safe Gatherings to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are at other events. Every individual caring for children is screened with a background check and comprehensive training.  Don't worry parents - we've got this!

WHAT WE TEACH

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them.  The teachings through GPS “Grow, Proclaim, Serve”, allows the younger children to experience and encounter Christ and bible characters through worship, art, science, games, drama, literacy, and prayer. The goal at First Church is for all kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!

RZ YOUTH

RZ Youth is a place where students come to the realization of how great is Christ’s love for us! Our prayer here is that students are strengthened through the Spirit and Christ dwells in their hearts! This is a safe place where youth come together in community to love God and love one another. We meet weekly to talk about our faith and what it means to live a life following Jesus!

 

There are plenty of fun and fellowship opportunities, plus bible studies that relate to the youth of Dodge City! Please excuse the noise and the mess when our students meet . . . .  we are a tight knit and joy filled group!
