At the heart of what it means to be a follower of Christ is the idea that our faith is built on solid rock. Matthew 7:25 states, “The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock.” The same is true with our faith – when we build a solid foundation, we can withstand the storms that life may throw at us.
This February, our youth will travel to the Red River Ski Area in New Mexico for a weekend of skiing and strengthening the foundations of our faith in worship and a variety of activities.
As always, our church makes this trip as affordable as possible by covering half the cost for any youth who would like to join us. We do this because we value the depth of spiritual formation that occurs on these retreats. Join us for this great weekend and build your own foundation to stand firm in the storms of life.
