Raciel Quintana is from Holguin, Cuba. After graduating as a tractor and combine electrician from Cristino Naranjo Technical Institute, he opted to go into the ministry. He studied at the Evangelical Seminary IMECU (Cuban Methodist Church) before moving to America and attending the Facultad Latinoamericana of Theological Studies, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Theological Biblical Studies.
Raciel has been serving in churches since 1985, where he was the missionary pastor in the Methodist Church in Buenaventura, Cuba. Since then, he served in five additional churches in Cuba, as well as in Florida and Virginia. Raciel was appointed to First United Methodist Church in Dodge City in 2016.
Raciel is married to Maribel Pupo and has two daughters, Elizabeth and Elisaris. His family still resides in Cuba, where his daughters are both vocalists in the “Hebrew Dances” band at the Methodist Church in Buenavista, Cuba.
