In his first letter to Timothy, Paul encourages the young leader in the church. Apparently Timothy is having some difficulties in leading because of his age. He is a young man, and therefore his words are not taken seriously. Yet, Paul gives him comfort saying, “Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, and in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12). This year, our fall retreat will focus on giving encouragement to our own youth to set an example and lead others in their faith. Join us for this great retreat November 11-12 and learn how you, too, can do great things because you are young! For more information, click because-fall-retreat.
