Short-term opportunities (subject to change as opportunities arise)

• Volunteer to help with Vacation Bible School in July

• Volunteer to help package meals for Haiti  (date to be determined)

Ongoing opportunities

• Volunteer to coordinate Welcome and Hospitality ministries for the church

• Coordinator of Lay Service

• Design and Update church website

• Volunteer to visit shut-ins or nursing home residents

• Volunteer to help Stephens Ministers deliver communion or bulletins

• Volunteer to help with Nursing home traveling library ministry

• Volunteer to help with children's ministries on Sunday mornings

• Volunteer to help with children's ministries on Wednesday evenings

• Volunteer to help with youth ministries on Wednesday evenings

• Volunteer to teach or lead Sunday School (adults)

• Volunteer to teach or lead Sunday School (Middle School)

• Volunteer to teach or lead Sunday School (Children's classes)

• Volunteer to help prepare, serve, or clean up on a Wednesday evening Meal Team

• Volunteer to project worship screens on Sunday mornings

• Volunteer to run the sound board for Sunday mornings

• Volunteer to Usher or be a Greeter

• Volunteer with transportation ministry on Sunday mornings

• Adult Choir (rehearses at 7 on Wednesday evenings)

• Volunteer to perform special music for worship

• Children's Choir (rehearses at 5 on Wednesday evenings)

• Solid Ground Band (rehearses on Thursdays, or as announced)

• Lay Reader for Worship (8:30, 9:45 or 10:55 Sunday mornings)

• Acolyte at 10:55 Sunday Worship (ages 3rd grade through 8th grade)

• Volunteer at United Methodist Youthville Dodge City Campus

• Volunteer at Trinity Manor

• Volunteer at United Methodist Mexican American Ministries Dodge City Care Center

• Volunteer to send Cards to sick and shut-in

• Crochet, Knit, embroider or sew prayer shawls

• Deliver Baby Baskets to families with newborns

• Office Volunteer

• New Chance Transportation on Sundays (to and from New Chance, Inc.)

• Take items collected for UM Mexican American Ministries to the Center

• Tend flower beds

• Pick up trash on church property

• Deep clean bathrooms weekly

• Handy work for those unable to do it themselves (painting, cleaning, yard work, etc.)

• Handy work at the church (small projects, painting, tree trimming, etc.)

• Communion Steward (helps with preparing and serving communion)

• Altar Steward (changes altar cloths, puts out flowers, checks candles, etc.) Sanctuary and Worship Center
